Today was the College of Engineering Commencement! Four years worth of hard work finally paid off.
These are just the pictures I had on my camera; my dad has more pictures from this day. It was held at the Greek Theater from 8:30 AM to 12:00 Noon. Started so early! The first speaker, Yu Tu, was pretty entertaining. Hooding the PhD candidates took forever, though, and was very, very boring.
Good job COE Class of 2009! We made it!

I picked up my commencement tickets today. Graduates in the College of Engineering participating in commencement get 6 free tickets, including one for themselves (5 for guests, 1 for the graduate). Our commencement will be held at the Greek Theater on May 23, 2009 from 8:30 AM – 12:00 Noon. I believe it will be the whole graduating class in the College of Engineering, and we will be seated by department.
And so the day draws nearer…

I received an email from the EECS (Electrical Engineering & Computer Science) department today wishing me congratulations on graduating and telling me to stop by 205 Cory Hall (EECS Student Affairs office) to pick up a graduation present that they have for us EECS graduates. Since I had time to kill, I headed over to 205 Cory Hall and was given this awesome EECS keychain. I love COE (College of Engineering) and the EECS department. They are always thoughtful of their students and very helpful. I’m glad I picked this major, and I’m even happier that I’m graduating with an EECS degree.
